History of Yntergy

In the year 2011 the owners of Gamma Analcont Ltd., Texelektronik Ltd. and Turbo Team Ltd. having reasonable background at manufacturing, engineering, installation, construction and supply chain management established a syndicate structure with as its head Yntergy cPlc.
The aim of the merger was to join the forces into a strong and flexible group which will be able to face the challenges in the XXI century.

Yntergy as the legal successor of Gamma Industries Ltd. can proudly represent 90 years plus history. Since its inception in 1920 Gamma Industries was a leading Hungarian industrial firm considered to be the stronghold of innovation based development. During the twentieth century Gamma Industries created hundreds of patent protected products, processes and methods.

At present the group is focusing mainly on the Energy (Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Power Production and Transmission) and Transportation sectors offering innovative and cost effective turnkey solutions.

The milestones of Yntergy history

1920

István Juhász and Zoltán Juhász establishing Gamma Industries Plc. at Budapest-Hungary. Manufactured products: geodesic tools, optical instruments

1932

Number of employees exceeded one hundred. Main activity was development & production of military devices including the most advanced product: the semi-automatic air defense director. The semi-automatic air defense director – was the undisputed champion of its age in air defense – exported to more than 30 counties.

1935

Initiation of the lens polishing glassworks workshop

1942

Gamma Industries reaches its biggest size ever. Number of employees exceeded four thousand.

1945-1960

The years of financial restructuring and operational reorganization. In the 1950’s the company focused on civil (main product classes were: lenses, cameras, binoculars) and military (main product classes were: air defense equipment, locators) production also. The company makes its first steps in nuclear industry.
In 1956 Ferenc Pavlics the lead engineer leaves the company and started to work for General Motors. Between 1967-1971 Ferenc Pavlics was leading a NASA program. Major development: the Lunar Roving Vehicle.

1960-1975

Major expansion in oil and gas industry by redeploying the company’s manufacturing capacities. Creation of patent protected gas-chromatographs, gas volume meters, pressure transmitters etc. In the Central European region Gamma Industries becomes the leading developer of nuclear and chemical protective equipment.

1975-1990

Gamma Industries realizes the commercial success with its critical control and safety systems used in nuclear power plants. Cooperation deepened between Gamma Industries and the Hungarian Central Physical Research Institute.

1990-2000

In 1993 Gamma Industries was segregated into two divisions: Gamma Analcont Ltd. and Gamma Technologies Plc. By applying the manufacturing know-how gained in the O&G sector Gamma Analcont reaches the OEM (Official Equipment Manufacturer) status for several Honeywell products. Based on licenses Gamma Analcont manufactures also Krohne and Fisher Rosemount (Emerson) industrial process instrumentations.

2000-2010

Gamma Analcont Ltd. significantly enhanced its position in Energy and Oil & Gas Industry (power stations, oil refinery plants, gas transmitter stations implementations, commissioning and maintenance, gas pipeline installations, gas turbine control box, gas pressure transmitters manufacturing etc.).

2011-today

Foundation of the syndicate structure with a diversified activity. The leader company of the group is Yntergy cPlc.
